The woodland retreat camp is set within a four acre woodland with no public road access, next to a large pond. It comprises a wooden treehouse on stilts, with sleeping cabin suitable for 4 people, housing a double bed and bunk beds fully made up for warmth and comfort and a lovely pip-squeak stove.
The covered kitchen/dining area has electricity, running water, fridge, gas stove and limited Wi-Fi for those of you who want to check your emails with all crockery and utensils provided. Next to the kitchen is a separate shower with hot water and hand basin.
Nearby the treehouse is a five-metre Bell tent for extra space, which is carpeted throughout with coir matting. Extra guests can pitch a tent for a charge of £10 per night on arrangement.
In the centre of the camp clearing is an area where you can have an open fire with a tripod stove for outdoor cooking. There is an ample supply of wood for you to gather and for the Ray Mears among you, a bow saw and an axe for you to prepare your own fire.
A pathway leads away from the treehouse, lit by solar lights to the compost loo, which is entirely private to your camp, composted with fresh wood chippings.
